Once your email address has been confirmed, login to your new affiliate account and here is what it would look like on a home page.
Click on the middle button which says get started with Banners/ Promote with banner.
Select your country where you want to promote products from.
It is also important to note that banners are not available in some countries like Uganda so, in this case, one is expected to use pages links and products links instead banners. Take a look at the differences between the two pages below.
When you click on any of the above banner categories, this is what you will see on your next screen.
Here you can download an image’s URL and paste it wherever you will place your links so both the picture and the link will be positioned at one place all together.
Copy a link to post on social media and copy also a link to past to your website as shown above.
Mean while for countries where there are no banners, you have to build a URL or links that you will share and use to bring people to buy products. To build a link;
Go to the Jumia affiliates home page.
Click on the menu bar and select advertising.
Select link builder from the drop down list and it will take you to this page
Fill out the form with a Jumia Page’s URL where you selected products from. This is only if you want to promote a whole Jumia page. You could also promote a single product by pasting it’s URL to the first URL space provided above.
Add your own tracking parameters like a YouTube channel URL to ease tracking of sales you made. Also add your sub-affiliate ID to the third URL space provided. The other spaces at the bottom don’t really matter so much you can leave them just blank.
Lastly, you will be required to review all your conversions,the products sold through your promotion and links simply by rating them.
